Polperro.

We had a visit last week to the coastal fishing village of Polperro.
I'll let the pictures do (most of) the talking!

Secret smugglers coves.

A beautiful shell house.

We had glorious weather -last week anyway!

  1. So lovely! It reminds me of Boscastle harbor and some of the houses remind me of Mousehole ... I do love Cornwall!

    1. Glad you enjoyed looking. I've not been to Boscastle, that would be a great place to go. I have lovely family memories of Mousehole, building 'car' sandcastles!

  4. Firstly I love your header - we use those bowls every day for breakfast and the colours cheer up the dullest of days.
We haven't been to Cornwall for a few years and this has revived my interest - we must plan another trip.
    Take care
    Best wishes

    1. Keep watching Jenny. We are both interested in stories to inspire work etc. So we are taking (frugal of course) days out, and seeing what we can find out.As my daughter is interested in ghosts (she's 11!) the places visited are often on the gloomy side- Bodmin jail, courts etc But I'm trying to weave in other- not so dreadfully horrific places of human misery. I'm sure you would understand.

    2. Ah yes - that mixed tapestry that is life!
Keep up those frugal habits - they are the best I think as they ensure we value what we have.
      Best wishes

    1. It was fresh! Not always the case, some beaches can be a bit pongy. I'm not a fan of eau de seaweed.
